Welcome!

Welcome to Plan Mahone Bay - a project to review and update the Town’s Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB).

About

Mahone Bay's Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw (MPS and LUB) were adopted in 2008.

These policies and regulations have been managing land use and development for more than a decade, and have served the town well. As new issues and trends have emerged, it is now time to review the Town's MPS and LUB.

This is an important opportunity to establish a shared vision for the future and guide growth and development in the years to come.
